Parental divorce cast a significant impact on family and children. Marriage is considered to be a sacred bond between two individuals where family plays a crucial role. Though in case of divorce, separation takes place between two individuals, however through the process of divorce, each individual member of the family suffers along with the children and adolescents (Demir-Dagdas et al. 2018). The divorce rate in United States is sharply increasing and the 28% children of United States are now suffering from the problem associated with pre- and post-divorce depression and traumatic situation. In terms of the data of 2020, almost 41% first marriages end up in divorce or separation (Lee, 2018). While the traditional values on family and faith have confidence on the families, the couples, who ended up in divorce or separation are also treated as social outcast.
